I have a 386 machine with a vga card and moniter, unfortunately I bought the system used from a business which had leased the machine. The computer is in excelent condition but I have no manuals to know the exact hardware specifications. The best i can figuer from all the software that I have run is that i have a 320x200x256 Vga card. I have tried all diffrent kinds of graphics software from Deluxe paint II Enhanced to shareware graphics programs that I can find. The problem is That none that I have found support 256 colors in 320x200 mode. Most support 640x480x256 vga or 320x200x16 vga modes. I have been able to use MCGA mode sometimes and get all 256 colors but if a picture is larger than the boundies of the card than that data is lost permently on a picture i am trying to edit. Does someone out there in computer land know of a program which could solve my problems, If so send me e-mail. Thanks in advance! --------------------- Mother do you think they'll drop the bomb, Mother do you think they'll like the song, Mother do you think they'll try to break my balls. -Pink Floyd raistlin@hobbes.catt.ncsu.edu baweave@eos.ncsu.edu
