Subject: Deleting the footer from a Word 4 document ??

Just wondering. I can't seem to completely delete a footer in a
word 4 document I created. Any Ideas?? I thought I deleted everything
in it (including the para symbol), yet I can still see it in
page view (with show hidden turned on)???

Any Ideas?
