This works fine (or at least acceptably) at 2400 baud. However, when I tried to use Telnet I would get "Host not responding" messages. We have a GatorBox and use MacTCP to support the Telnet. I am presuming that the problem is that MacTCP times out before I make the connection. I can see that Telnet without MacTCP allows you to set a timeout value, but I do not see any hooks in MacTCP to change this. I am correct, and if so how can I change MacTCP?
