Thea note: ------------ 1) The $199 version is a DevelopMENT version, not a DevelopER version. It is not meant for developers, but rather for people who have never seen HyperCard before and want to learn scripting and buttons and all that stuff from scratch. It comes with a few more manuals, but no new disks or stacks. If you already have HyperCard 2.0 and know scripting, you do not want this version. The $49 version is for those who have the Old HyperCard (1.2.x) and want to upgrade to HC 2.0. Here at Claris, we only take orders for upgrades and refer original orders to Retailers. BTW, APDA will not be receiving the Development Kit version. Let me know if you need more details on this. ------------ There you have it. I have two reactions: a) somehow I had inferred from everything I'd read that the $199 version was 1,000+ pages of technical documentation, aimed at people doing serious work with HyperCard. b) the latest APDA bulletin clearly lists the $199 package as a catalog item; evidently somebody changed their mind somewhere in the Apple-->Claris-->ADPA chain. -- Paul Heller, Paul.Heller@f421.n109.z1.fidonet.org via The Black Cat's Shack's FidoNet<->Usenet Gateway blkcat.fidonet.org and Fidonet 1:109/401
