Keywords: TextEdit PICT Message-ID: <88067@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu> Date: 6 Feb 91 19:28:20 GMT Distribution: all Organization: Ohio State University, Department of Dance Lines: 17 I'm working on a specialized drawing application called LabanWriter that allows us to notate dance (and other movement) on the Mac. Much of the rest of the work is done, but I still have to add text handling capability. Working with TextEdit is no problem, but once a TE area is no longer active I need to make it into a PICT, and of course I need to make it back into a TE record when it is selected again. Can anyone suggest a good way of doing this without losing all of the style info and preferably without storing a lot of redundant information? Thanks in advance, Scott ------ Scott Sutherland Internet: scott@dance.ohio-state.edu, AT&T Mail: !scottas Staff Software Developer The Ohio State University, Department of Dance
