XEDIT from X11R3 is ok, but sort of buggy. XEDIT from X11R4 is better, but I still haven't figured out how to cut a block of text (marking and copying is easy). I've been complaining to IBM about this as well. I am sort of uncomfortable, however, with paying $1K per copy for a version of EDT. I guess we have to be patient.
