I put it on my machine and changed the Xconfig file to match my machine. When I try to start it up, I get the following error messages: "Cannot open /dev/ptmx: No such file or directory" Then I get: "Fatal Server Bug! Cannot establish any listening sockets" HELP! WHat is the problem with this? What is /dev/ptmx for that matter? All help is, as usual, appreciated. Later, Terry
