I am looking for TeX previewer for a Unix/386 machine. I already have one I got from the net a while ago, but would like a more up to date one with a few extra features. 1. Supports Super VGA 1024x768 pixels 2. Uses font bitmaps designed for higher resolution devices. This way I wouldn't have to generate a whole new set of bitmaps for the previewer. I believe the previewer that comes with emTeX (TeX for MSDOS) works in this fashion, filtering the higher resolution bitmaps to the appropriate screen resolution (true?). Is this a good idea? I will post to comp.text.tex a summary of answers I get through email.
