I installed the 4.1 ultrix software on a current RZ55 with no problem. However, after numerous attempts at trying to install on the 1500MB I'm at wits end. I've re-formatted it, bad-block scanned it, tested it with the system dskx program and it works fine. Every time I try and install either a bootable system on it, or a diskless client area, I get a "cpu panic: asc_dmarestart" error shortly after it starts to install the root partition or the subsets (depending on which way I'm installing). This 5000/200 is on a net with a VAX 6210 running VMS and DecNet, 2 Dec 3100's still on Ultrix 3.1 with NFS and DecNet, and a PC running PC-NFS. Anybody got any ideas (I am working with DataSafe too, but no dice yet).
