Some users wish to press PrintScreen, Ctrl-PrintScreen and/or Shift-PrintScreen in order to dump the current text screen and/or future text screens to their local printer (e.g. one screen messages, brief instructions/help) Apparently Windows traps the PrintScreen button and sends the screen to the clipboard. In and of itself this is a useful feature when documenting Windows programs. However, on some machines full screen DOS windows may be printed, as per pre- windows. I can't quite figure out why one system enables printing to the printer and another "prints" to clipboard. Any comments, suggestions, page numbers, etc. would be appreciated... barry -- +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Barry B.
