Philip, I know exactly what the Officer is going through. I too was a police officer and became disabled (CMT). Although a gun shot disability has to be more traumatic than a disorder, I can relate to his depression about his situation. I went through it all and the only one that can help him is him. He has to accept the challenge and realize that he can still be productive with his life. After the depression was defeated, I applied myself to develop computer skills that enable me to function as the supervisor of the Crime Analysis and Crime Stopper Units of a police department. The Montreal officer could do something similar. It's up to him!
