 The IRF prefix means the part type was originally developed by International
Rectifier. It is part of their HEXFET line and is now second-sourced by many
other mfrs. The device is a 400V, 5.5A, 75W N-ch power MOSFET. It is supplied
in a TO-204/TO-3 case.
