It is called "EVERFAX 24/96 D". It has 2400 baud data modem, and 9600 baud send/receive fax modem. We have software we wrote for Sun workstations to speak to class 2 faxmodems; it is called netfax and is available by anonymous FTP from alpha-bits.ai.mit.edu in /pub/systems/netfax/netfax.tar.Z The system relies on Ghostscript for imaging postscript and text, and the PBM toolkit for converting to g3 format.
