Keywords: v.32bis HST DS USR Message-ID: <1991Feb12.012508.10293@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> Date: 12 Feb 91 01:25:08 GMT Sender: news@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu (News) Organization: University of Illinois at Urbana Lines: 14 I have a 1 year old USRobotics DS HST with v.42/v.42bis and whatnot. I'm curious as to how much USR is charging for the v.32bis upgrade. I've heard that v.32bis takes so much processor time that the whole board in the modem must be swapped, hence a new modem. Can someone tell me exactly what the upgrade entails?
