[...stuff deleted] I disagree. How about video compression. A major part of any digital HDTV system has to be the compression scheme. Two of the reasons to do compression are: - To save on storage (computer side) - To save on bandwidth (non computer side) Actually I don't care what the group is called. However, digital communications is not part of computer science. I also have doubts about microprocessor design being only a CS area too. M. C.
