Dear Sir,
    I am a new user of Emacs. Would you please give me a piece of
advice :
 1- The Meta keys of my Sun 4/60 SPARC station1 does not work whenever
I use Emacs as an editor.
 2- Has the .emacs the same function as autoexec.bat in MS-DOS or
.cshrc in SUN workstation ?
 3- What commands do I need to move/copy a paragraph from one place to
another place in the same file?
 4-By what commands I can move/copy one paragraph from one file
to another file?
 5-How can I break a big file (for example 20,000 lines) to small
files (e.g. 10 files) ?
