Is this because modeling is much harder ? We, a friend of mine and I, write our Masters Thesis in the field of ray tracing (including splines). So my question is: Has anybody models suitable for this purpose ? Though modeling is itself a challenge I have simply not enough time (and no software) to do much in this field except some nasty test images.
