I can't seem to find 2 Forth programmers anywhere who agree on what makes a good string wordset, and I think there are at least as many opinions on this in the committee as there are committee members. I have given up hope on this issue. Regarding strings, the committee is truly representative of the Forth community; there is not even a hint of a consensus.
