So, for anybody interested, archives are available via anonymous ftp on betwixt.cs.caltech.edu (131.215.128.4) in /pub/comp.lang.perl Files of /pub/comp.lang.perl are . archives/ -- archives of comp.lang.perl, divided by of posting. Dates are from 89dec to 91feb. . bysubject/ -- some of the articles, partitioned by subject. Thanks go to Tom for doing this part of the job... . refguide/ -- John Vroman's perl reference guide. The file refguide.tar.Z is just a ztar'd version of this directory. . book_ex.tar.Z -- the ztar file containing the examples from The Book. (straight from uunet.uu.net) I haven't been updating the "bysubject" directory, but I hope to start working on that within the next month. If anybody has any ideas, suggestions, etc I'd appreciate hearing what other people want in a comp.lang.perl archive. Also, scripts to go through and do some of the splitting into "bysubject" would be handy, etc... -thumper! -- B. Thomas Adler <...!ames!elroy!cit-vax!adler>
