I understand that the SparcPrinter can handle 57 PostScript fonts. I'd like to get the TFM fonts in order to use them in TeX. I tried to use makeafb in OpenWin2.0 to generate AFM fonts from *.f3b and then use afm2tfm (the one which comes with dvips5.4) to convert them into TFM fonts. I got the following error message when I was doing afm2tfm Times-Roman.afm. ; expected: ! syntax error C 32 ; WX 250 ; N space ^ The top of the Times-Roman.afm looks like ========================================================== StartFontMetrics 2.1 Font Times-Roman Comment Times is a trademark of Linotype AG.
