On our Sequent derived Sinix machine with it's hybrid universes, I've noticed a funny problem. I've been using the cron from the Berkeley universe to start uucp transfers, polling mail and news from our feed. This is still the old style with just a /usr/lib/crontab file for control. Now I wanted to switch to the one provided with the ATT universe, which allows user specific crontabs in a /usr/spool/cron/crontabs directory. The transfers worked fine. But now I always got an additional header prefixed to all mails, stating that the mail was sent by uucp, thus making r)eply to a mail invalid. Is this normal behaviour? Any hints gratefully accepted Mike -- Mike Hoffmann, Siemens-Nixdorf AG, SNI AP 712 UUCP: mike@ap542.uucp | INTERNET: mike%ap542@ztivax.siemens.com "For the new year I resolved, not to be offended by human nature.
