They even helped me get around some problems that I had (turned out to be a bug in DOS 3.1, that was later documented by other sources). Could it be that as companies get larger they become careless? From what I understand, the Gateway (2000?) computer company has been getting complaints after very successful and much-praised operation the last few years.
