Yes, FMV is in the CD-I spec, but no-one has seen an implementation yet have they! (I've certainly not heard of >screen resolution video being available). The players I have seen certainly couldn't do FMV and the companies demonstrating them made no pretence that they could. Also Phillips have said they will be supporting MPEG and that isn't even defined yet so I think it will be some time before we see FMV from CD-I.
