 Subject: GNU Distribution

 What is the quintessential distribution point for the GNU tools
 on the Internet?  I'm interested in getting a GNU C compiler and
 other stuff to do development on a 386 under DOS but generate
 BSD out formatted files.  If you've been following the recent
 issues of DR. Dobb's you've probably seen their articles on porting
 BSD UNIX 4.3 to the 80386.  Somehow downloading the GNU C binary
 (600+ K) off of CompuServe at 2400 bps doesn't sound cost effective.
 I figure this is as good a place as any because everyone here is
 porting the GNU tools to the 80386 and 680x0 any they must be getting
 it from somewhere.  Thanks all for any help.
