You should subscribe to the Sun Common SCSI Architecture mailing list. Send your subscription request to scsa-request@island.com, submissions to scsa@island.com. There are people there who can answer your questions. There's even a complete SCSA driver in the archives to control a TEAC SCSI floppy.
