Cleveland, Ohio, (USA) Lines: 18 Nntp-Posting-Host: adamwest.ins.cwru.edu We're looking at using CAP for file sharing, in circumstances where the CAP users do not necessarily have Unix accounts on the CAP server. The ru-cap2 distribution contains several references to a lookaside password file, but I have been unable to find any unified explanation of what such a file can do. Do I need DES routines? If I do, where can I get appropriate ones? (Will the free DES routines developed in Finland work?) What provisions does CAP have for allowing users to change their passwords using the AppleTalk facilities? I appreciate any help you can offer. I've read and grepped the documentation, looking for Answers, but no luck so far. :-) -- Stephen Trier Case Western Reserve University Work: trier@cwlim.ins.cwru.edu Information Network Services Home: sct@seldon.clv.oh.us %% Any opinions above are my own. %%
