I have a compac 386/25 with a 3c503 card. Right now, our network is configured so that if I want to print, I have to log into the novel servers (and get my lpt ports remapped or use nprint). This requires that I load ipx. On the other hand, if I want access to the unix boxes (for mail, etc), I need to load a different packet driver (right now I use the one sold by TCP associates). The problem is that if I load ipx and net4 (or xmsnet4) to print or use the novell file servers I can't connect to any of the unix machines without rebooting my pc (ipx won't unload). If I use the tcp/ip packet driver, I can access the unix network, but I can't print directly (I have to tell programs to generate postscript files and then print these PS files through the unix system). Does anyone know of a single driver that I could use for both purposes, so I didn't have to keep rebooting my machine? Additionally, can I load it into XMS with QEMM 5.1? Can I unload it (without rebooting) if I need to?
