Does any one know of a utility or of ways to convert data in BRU format
(from a PDP 11) into tar format? 

A program capable of writing tar tapes under RSX-11, or the VMS source code 
for such a program, would meet the need.

Also, where can descriptions or specifications of these formats (especially
BRU) be found?
