Too late *now*, of course, but why compound the mistake? > -- > Peter da Silva. `-_-' > . Well..... Not necessarily. If not loadable, and execute not set, it's a script, yes. Fine. If execute set, make it a script that runs like a command. But set the SCRIPT bit if you'd like to make it an AREXX script. See, what if it isn't loadable, and execute isn't set? It could be a normal text file... so maybe set the environment variable $pager (I seem to love that idea...), and have it automatically page things that aren't loadable, and without execute set ... Anyways. That's jumping WAY ahead, and borders on excessive chumminess and being littlemore than a pain... But anyways... I think that the script bit already exists, but isn't being currently used. It sounds like a brilliant use for it to me... Script for Arexx, Execute for standard scripting, and none set for standard text file... I like it the more I think of it... :) Take a rest, peter... If you don't like the feature, don't use it. You can type "execute xxx", and "rx xxxx" if you like... Personally, I'd like it... And I think it would reduce the fear of the "dreaded cli"... Would make it much easier to do... Just remember to give a good explanation of each bit in the manual.... :} ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ gblock@csd4.csd.uwm.edu | Amigas, amigas, everywhere, but not a one can think. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
