Both /bin/passwd and /com/chpass go to sleep and stay that way after reading the new password string. The node has just been added to the network; it had been stand-alone. It's running a slave rgyd (just created from the master) and glbd (also just created). The os is 10.2. rgy_admin knows about the replica, and it's in service. drm_admin recognizes the glbd. Can anyone offer any clues? Thanks, Eric Bushnell Univ of WA Civil Engr etb@milton.u.washington.edu etb@zeus.ce.washington.edu
