Message-ID: <1991Feb11.015949.3751@news.miami.edu> Date: 11 Feb 91 01:59:49 GMT Sender: news@news.miami.edu (USENET News System) Organization: University of Miami, RSMAS Lines: 27 I've been converting an Applesoft program to ZBASIC for a friend and have just hit a snag. I cannot get a working routine that reads directory entries to work under ZBASIC. For example in Applesoft, the code does a : 10 D$=CHR$(4) 20 ?D$"OPEN /VOLUMENAME ,TDIR" 30 ?D$"READ /VOLUMENAME" 40 INPUT A$ {PULL OUT A$ INFORMATION NEEDED} AND EVENTUALLY AFTER A FEW MORE INPUTS 100 ?D$"CLOSE" Now how can I do that in ZBASIC? ZBASIC doesn't have a filetype pre-defined for DIR files... HELP!!!! Thanks...
