Are you aware that there is a mail server at princeton specifically set up to handle to remote ftp requests and send the files to you by mail? Try sending the one-line message "help" to: bitftp@pucc.princeton.edu (Note: I haven't actually used this server, but I presume that it works, since it's been around for a while. I think that there may be similar servers located elsewhere, but I don't have addresses. Does anyone else have any details on this sort of thing?)
