Message-ID: <10539@aggie.ucdavis.edu> Date: 14 Feb 91 07:39:56 GMT Sender: ccjason@aggie.ucdavis.edu Reply-To: ccjason@aggie.ucdavis.edu (Jason Gabler) Followup-To: alt.bbs Organization: University of California, Davis Lines: 19 I finally got FIDOver11v working on my DEC Rainbow ( no laughing please ;) 100+ w/ 320k RAM, 10Meg HD .... The only problem is: Incoming calls are answwered by the modem, but FIDO does not respond. I fhave ODEC_XXX.COM runnig ( a DEC RB comm fossil ), and I have set the CD flag (xx/V) to 16/v being that the Rainbow Tech. Docs say that the 4th bit is CD ( or its quivalent that is..). I also have a Hayes 2400 SmartModem and the XX/J flag is set to 11/J. Any ideas why FIDO ain't grabbin' the bone? jase Jason Gabler UCD Computing Services, Data Communications Group *cable grunt* ccjason@aggie.ucdavis.edu jygabler@ucdavis.bitnet gods-tale-request@ucdavis.edu
