Message-ID: Date: 12 Feb 91 23:48:23 GMT Sender: lp@itrpe.UUCP Lines: 31 Hi there! I'm hardly trying to assign something like a second CST menu to a Key. The Problem now is, that the 48 doesn't allow to press the appropriate Key while editing a Program. Since I would like the menu to operate like the Custom Menu, (actually I will include my own functions and commands as the MTH-Menu for easy typing) this is very inconvinient, or let's say: USELESS! Is there any way to execute a program (assigned to a key) while editing something? Probably assigning of a Code object would work ?? Even better would it be, if the called program's return value would be inserted at the current cursor location... any suggestions .... ? Matthias P.S. I've written some nice code to auto-calculate the error of a given function f(a,b,c...) by entering da, db, dc ... there's also a worst-case calculation.. (maybe I'll post it soon) and something to convert REAL -> 'x*sqrt(y)/u*sqrt(v)' ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Matthias Heubi / NeXT / Atari ST / HP-48SX / mheubi@itrpe.uu.ch ----------------------------------------------------------------------- NO PHONE NO MONEY
