    I hope I'm not mis-posting, but this is the only computer-hardware-related
group I could find.  Does a hardware design newsgroup exist?  My specific
interest lies in finding an SSI (Small Scale Integration, i.e. gates, latches
and the like) chip which performs a particular function (I've
had no luck so far with databooks and vendors).  I'm not sure if this is
the right group to post such a query, even though this does pertain to a
PC/AT design.
