An interesting problem arrises at random times during extensive keyboard operation. In applications like video games (or when I really feel like flying on the typing) the machine begins setting off alarms left and right, and stops everything, and I mean everything. When this happens pressing the reset button will cause a reboot of the system, but it never makes it past the opening screen, forcing me to reach for big red. I think it is a problem with the shadow bios, but would like as much input as you folks are willing to throw my direction. Craig Nelson (mwizard@eecs.ee.pdx.edu)
