I can't find a way to use the control key on my (regular Mac) keyboard as part of a "Command-key". What's worse, the control key doesn't seem to be mentioned in the manual. I can't be the only Word user that would like to make Word keystroke bindings match up with a "primitive" (but memorized) text editor ... If you are referring to Emacs, I have a so-called 'Word ->Emacs' settings file for 4.0 (which I haven't tried) which supposedly maps the keys that way. If you need it, ask. As far as the control key goes, on my SE/30 I just go to commands and 'add key' and type control- and it worked. Now, if you are referring to vi, I'm sure the command settings file exists, or could be created fairly 'easily', relatively speaking. But I don't know vi so I couldn't do it. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Alan D.
