Well, I can quite confidently say that InterCon feels this way too (at least, they did when I worked for them :)), but they can't really fix bugs in MacTCP, which is why they only have SLIP for their standalone version. There's a similar situation with SMNP--MacTCP won't let them do a real implementation.
