The setup is as follows: ********************************************* * Mac * * PC * * SUN * ******** ****** ********** (localtalk) (ethernet) MacTCP PCrouter TCP/IP, NFS NCSA Telnet The PC has both a TOPS card in it, and a WD ethernet card. The PC is (theoretically at least) a dedicated router. Here is the curious part: I can successfully ping from the SUN to the IP addresses of both cards in the (PC) router -both are alive...but I cannot reach the SUN from the Mac. I suspect there may be a problem with my installation of the PCrouter software. Does anyone have ideas on what I may be overlooking here? Lack of good diagnostics from the localtalk side going towards the SUN has brought me to a standstill. Thanks for any and all help!
