With all due respect to the author and the movies.  I have seen both 2001 and 2010 many times and STILL cannot figure out how to get HAL started.  Do you have to do something like type or say EXACTLY what Dr. Chandra says in 2010 when he first restarts HAL?		icsu0057@caesar.cs.montana.edu
