How much more speed does this give you??? I just got a MicroNet 644/NP at work, replacing my old MacinStor 650 (which is no slouch in the speed department - 16 ms access times). The initial impressions I have are that this drive is FAST. Performance in disk-intensive applications like Photoshop seems to be greatly improved. I can also notice the speed with which my 44 INITs load at start-up :-) I have to run some performance benchmarks for our sales department on Monday. I plan to run both hard disk test programs (like DiskBasher! and SCSI Evaluator) as well as real-world tests. When I have the results compiled, I will post them. Robert
