Message-ID: Date: 11 Feb 91 23:27:33 GMT Sender: news@cadillac.CAD.MCC.COM Distribution: comp Organization: MCC CAD Program, Austin, Texas Lines: 16 I know "cheap high-resolution *color*" is an oxymoron, but... :-) I see that Micron technology offers a 1024x768, 8-bit card for ~$558 (mail-order). Sony's CDP-1304 monitor purportedly can display 1024x768 pixels (I *think*) and is available for ~$650. Thus, in theory, a two-page 8-bit color display solution could be had (given that these two components are compatible) for ~$1200 (sounds good to me :-). Does anybody know if this is true? Are there any other reasonably priced (read *cheap* :-) displays that will work with Micron's high-res card? Any comments on Micron's video card?
