It enables the 'on' key and causes 'shutdown' to shutdown the mac as well as whatever else you plug in to it (monitor, printer, modem...). Very nice. It also has a built in timer, so that you can have everything turn on at a specified time (have your computer started up before you get to the office each day (!) , lets see 30 seconds per day x some hourly rate and the thing will pay for itself in a few hundred years. ) He who dies with the most toys wins. -- -george george@mech.seas.upenn.edu
