I cna't get the error sounds to work when I am adjusting them in the control pannel. If I select a sound or adjust the volume, the menu bar just blinks. I can hear the speaker click, but no other sound. This problem also arrises in HyperCard (v 1.2) when recorded instructions to a test are played. I can get the sounds of games to work, and if I make an error in another program (WORD, Excel, etc), I get an error sound. I have tried reinstalling the system (6.0.5) and this does nothing. I was also receiving a dialog box with a hand in a stop sign that read GLOBAL GLOBAL. Does anyone know what this is? I think I have gotten rid of it when I reinstalled the system. Thanks for any help. ----------------------------- -Kevin Hansen---------------- -Minnesota Twin Family Study- -University of Minnesota----- -ehall@ux.acs.umn.edu-------- -----------------------------
