It is similar to Font/DA mover but deals with sounds. It can open many kinds of sound files, including the ones you find in the archives. It has been seen under the name Sound Manager Package, too. I must agree with another posting that it can be very annoying to have silly beep sounds, especially long ones, but I do like "Ni!" (from Monthy Python/Holy Grail) and some other short ones. SoundMaster (or SoundControl, which comes with SoundMover) are awful when misused, but we have the right to customize our systems as we like. You know, some people even have brightly colored menu bars and scrollbars without getting sick...
