Message-ID: <1991Feb15.004123.28153@athena.mit.edu> Date: 15 Feb 91 00:41:23 GMT Sender: news@athena.mit.edu (News system) Distribution: usa Organization: Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lines: 18 Hi everyone- I have a DeskWriter (serial only) running on version 2.1 of the HP driver. I also installed 32-Bit QuickDraw from Apple's System 6.0.5 disks. When I try to print, I get about 1.5 inches down the page and a "Datacomm buffer overrun - no DTR handshaking" error. I took 32-Bit QuickDraw out and the printer works fine now. Does anyone know where the problem is (in 32-Bit QD or in the DW driver)? Does 32-Bit QD in System 6.0.7 differ from the one in 6.0.5? Is the problem in the HP driver? I'm running an SE/30, SuperLaserSpool 2.02, and other stuff which never gave me problems before. Please send e-mail, or post if you feel necessary. Thanks in advance.
