It should basically be able to do the following things: add, sub, div, mul, cmp, neq, sqrt, round, trunc, frac, pow, log, ln, convert bcd to and from double, signed short, unsigned short, signed long, unsigned long etc. etc. and convert to and from ascii string. I don't care much what the underlying format of the BCD numbers are, as long as the package as such has a sufficient precision to use in an accounting system. (You know, accountants are picky about numbers !). If no one knows about such a gizmo - can anyone elaborate on the feasabi- lity of using 64 or 128 bit scaled integers to solve the problem.
