You write some simple C code in a window, with facility for feedforward and feedback loops, execute, and you can hear the result, see a soundview, an fft and a spectrogram of the sound. It is basically an interface for Kenneth Steiglitz' ein kleiner filter compiler. This will only be useful for those who know what a feedback, feedforward loop etc. are. It is especially useful for students learning the rudiments of digital signal processing. I have left a tar file in princeton.edu in the pub/music directory (compressed). Please alert me to any bugs, problems etc. Have fun. Paul Lansky music department Princeton University paul@princeton.edu
