Seriously, I think NeXT cares about students. They set up the whole Campus Consultants with students... Not faculty or Staff. They wanted people out "in the field" who could relate to the needs of academia not from the point of view of $$$ of a campus bookstore, or the $$$ of grant money, but really to see how students would use their machines. The Campus Consultants are a good metric of NeXT's commitment to students.
