I got helps from this group before about installing "Perl"
in 1.0a and have it running.
Can I use "Installer" to keep the origin perl when I upgrade to 2.0 ?

I try to use Configure to install "patch" program in
2.0 machine in school lab. But Configure complain can't
find C libray etc. I saw post about patch in 2.0 in 
next-programmer mail list before. I can't find it now.

Any one sucessfully installed perl and patch in 2.0 ?
